THEANAMBRA STATE COUNCILORS FORUM (ASCOF) APPLAUDS MRS OBIANO'S PET PROJECT

Chief (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano (Osodieme) appreciated and thanked The ASCOF members that trooped into her office on solidarity visit. she said they are foot soldiers. However Her Excellency pleaded with the councilors not to impeach their chairmen rather they should always dialogue and cry out to the Governor where dialogue fails. This according to her will help to leverage and sustain the good governance that has been instituted in the state. She enjoined the foot soldiers to ensure that poverty eradication which the government is championing by creating enabling environment to attract investors is sustained.   

Earlier the 12 man delegates led by Hon Anayo Okpalale from Achina ward I and chairman of Anambra state chapter of ASCOF congratulated and commended her Excellency on the good work her NGO café is doing in the state through skill acquisition and empowerment programme for both women and youths.  The ASCOF chairman made her Excellency to understand that ASCOF Anambra state chapter is proud of her and wants to partner with her in CAFE programs. He further said that the news of the Governors impeccable policy and governance style has gone virile in the country while Anaambra state is proudly known and tagged the safest haven.

In a similar manner Chief (Mrs) Obiano thanked and appreciated the Nigerian market women Anambra state chapterled by Chief (mrs) Ifenyinwa Ezenwa that paid her solidarity visit same day. Chief (Mrs)  Obiano enjoined the market women to be steadfast in supporting government activities especially on issues of women and youths. This she said will aid in sustenance of serene environment which Gov. Willie her husband has built through vibrant security institution. She therefor called on the women to be part and parcel of youths nurturing for better society. Chief Obiano also made the market women to rally round widows and indigent women for skill acquisition and empowerment. This she said, the names will have to be submitted in her office to enable contact of the women for the training vice vise empowerment.

Earlier Chief (mrs) Ezenwa thanked her Excellency while apologized for the group inability to have called on Mrs Obiano. She promised that the market women are all out to work with her in achieving all her intentions for Ndi-Anambra using CAFE her pet project while lauding the works so far she achieved in less than 7months.
